Last night we celebrated the end of basketball season. I am going to miss it very much and cannot wait until summer ball starts up.
He played in U12 Division and his coach was Coach Howie. He has been coaching a long time with the rec centers and had 3 teams he coached this season.
U10 came in second and U14 undefeated and U12 was a special team that equally won and lost games.
For a team with many first years they did great and always put on a great game that had us confused, laughing and or crying. Sometimes all at once lol.
Coach Howie said Brendan with more experience could one day be a basketball hero :)
Dad plans on signing up to coach for summer and winter league and I think that is awesome. Dad played from 6th through high school and loves this sport.
Below is a picture of Brendan and Coach.

MemorLees: First visit to Bass Pro Shop
Today for the first time we went to Bass Pro Shop. Have always wanted to go there. Dad and I took the younger 4 kiddos as the teen was out with a friend.
The store was a lot bigger then we expected. It was organized well and was easy to navigate.
The kids enjoyed all the animal displays, aquariums and waterfalls the most.
We picked up info for getting fishing licenses for this upcoming season and checked out fishing gear.
Will definitely be back for kids events that I have seen in the past they always advertise.
Afterwards we headed to a new place (for us) called Freddy's. They have yummy burgers, hotdogs and frozen custard.
Was a beautiful day and a nice time out.

Baby C: 23 months
Baby C is getting so big! He has grown and matured so much in the last 2 months. He will be will turning 2 next month in Jan.
He loves to mimic everything everyone does in the house. Unlike most, I love the toddler years. They are a lot of work but they are also so much fun.
Toddlers really dive into the world around them and they absorb everything in their little world.
The painting, play dough, building blocks, exploring in and out everything like a little tornado and all those other fun messy things toddlers love to do.
Reminds me of when I use to be so hungry to learn and explore. Being a stay at home mom allows me these special times when I get to be child like again and sparks the hunger for growth and learning that often gets weighed down by the everyday busyness of adult life.
Here are some recent pics of baby C and his fun.
